Depth therapy for the patterns underneath. The anxiety, the depression, the stuckness that keep showing up. What people bring here:

Living abroad

Most of the people I work with live outside their home country. Lonely even though the people around them are kind. Not quite at home in either country anymore. Functional, but functional has started to feel like the ceiling rather than the floor.

I know that life from the inside. I am an American living abroad and raising children between cultures, and the work happens in the language you actually think and feel in. Because sessions are online, the work doesn't stop when you change countries.

What clients say
• • • • •

“I came in thinking I knew what my issues were. I’d been over them a hundred times. But those were just the things I could already see. Aaron helped me notice what I couldn’t, and that’s where everything actually started to change.”

• • • • •

“I’d been in and out of therapy for years. Different therapists, different approaches, none of it really stuck. Aaron helped me understand more in a few months than all of them combined. And he talked to me like a normal person, not like all this weird therapy-speak.”

• • • • •

“I didn’t think online therapy could really work. How do you feel a connection through a screen? But I’ve done in-person therapy before, and honestly, I’ve felt more understood by Aaron than by any therapist I’ve sat across from. He listens in a way that’s hard to describe until you experience it.”

“A few years ago I suddenly developed prolonged panic attacks but couldn’t begin to understand what had caused them. ... I can honestly say Aaron provides a form of counseling that is difficult to find anywhere else regarding efficacy. ... I cannot recommend him enough as he has helped me feel more myself than ever before.”

Do you offer couples therapy in English?
Yes. Couples work focuses on recurring conflict patterns, communication breakdowns, and relationship dynamics, including cross-cultural couples.
Is this service appropriate for emergencies?
No. If someone is in immediate danger or at imminent risk, they should use local emergency services. See the crisis page for resources.
What is the first session like?
A first session is a focused conversation to understand what's happening, what's been tried, and what would make the work meaningful, and to decide whether it's a fit.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions are online by secure video, and scheduling is designed to work across time zones.
What happens if I move countries during therapy?
